Set in Hinomoto, a fictional version of Japan, where for a long time railway travel served as the most important form of transport. Each locomotive was paired with a humanoid control module, so-called RailRoad, that aided the train operator. However, many rail lines had been discontinued due to the rising popularity of ‘aerocrafts’, a safe and convenient aerial mode of transport. As such, their accompanying railroads also went into a deep sleep.
Soutetsu had lost his entire family in a rail accident and was adopted into the Migita household, which runs a shochu brewery in the city of Ohitoyo. He returned to his hometown to save it from the potential water pollution that would occur if they accepted the proposal to build an aerocraft factory nearby. He woke up the RailRoad Hachiroku by accident and became her owner. For different purposes, they agreed to help find her lost locomotive, with the help of his stepsister Hibiki, the town’s mayor and local railway chief, Paulette and others.

- In February 2017, Japanese and English publisher Front Wing announced that they’ll be publishing Subarashiki Hibi in English. The English title being “Wonderful Everyday”. It has since then released and the first chapter is available for download on Steam. Download full uncensor patch.
- Subarashiki Hibi was originally planned to be released on February 26, 2010 but a release was announced on December 26, 2009, pushing the release date one month back. Oct 29, 2016 - Does anyone, by any chance, have the file for the 'leaked' partial english patch of Subarashiki Hibi, that roughly translated about 70%-80% of the visual novel?

The steam version came first before this when it feels like it should be the other way around. I hope there'll be at least a voice patch for the steam version once this comes out. I really only care is the Full Voice so it won't be awkward that only males(Except Takuji), especially Yuuki Tomosane given he's a protagonist, aren't voiced. And yes, RIP HD best waifu Kimika. |

Note that previous save files won't work with this patch. Furthermore, it might cause certain errors with the game due to its nature as a fan patch. A couple of errors have been reported already, so don't expect it to fully work as intended. |

In fact, I've read all Subarashiki Hibi-related threads on Reddit because I was trying to get some update in case someone released a voice patch. And the new chapter is about a short epilogue regarding The Hill Of Sunflowers ending or basically, more h-scenes for Yuki. And by that, thankfully I don't have any interest since what I want is the full voice. Anyway, finally I found a voice patch. Tried it and it seems it's working(Tomosane has a voice on my steam copy) although it's just a quick test. I'll try replaying the whole game later. |
