Restart App In Menu Bar Mac

First, here’s a quick tip that new Mac users may not already know. The current date is available in the OS X menu bar, but you have to click on the menu bar clock to see it. When you do, a drop. The menu bar runs along the top of the screen on your Mac. Use the menus and icons in the menu bar to choose commands, perform tasks and check status. You can set an option to automatically hide the menu bar so it’s shown only when you move the pointer to the top of the screen.

All of your features from Fantastical 2 are automatically available and do not require a Flexibits Premium subscription. This only applies to existing Fantastical 2 customers.

  1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu Shut Down. If you don’t want app windows that are open to reopen when your Mac restarts, deselect “Reopen windows when logging back in.” A Mac is completely shut down when the screen is black. Some computers also don’t show an active power light or have any fan or drive noise.
  2. Nov 22, 2019 The app can also automatically launch itself at the restart, unlike the above two apps which mean I don’t have to restart the app every time the Mac reboots. The app syncs everything to the iCloud so whatever you have planned would show up on the widget. I like ItsyCal because of two features; pinning the widget to keep it on the top,.
  3. A while ago I wrote a tip where you can Option-click the Wi-Fi icon on the Mac for diagnostic details. But there are many more Mac menu bar shortcuts you can do, and they all use the Option key.

Mac Users: In order for Fantastical to activate your prior purchase you need to download Fantastical from the same location you originally purchased it from (either directly from our website or the Mac App Store). Otherwise Fantastical will not unlock your Fantastical 2 features.

  • If you purchased Fantastical 2 for Mac directly from our website (you have a Fantastical 2 license code) then you need to download Fantastical 3 directly from our website.

  • If you are using the version from our website, you can enter your Fantastical 2 license by clicking 'Fantastical' in the Menu bar > Enter License. This will not work with the Mac App Store version.

  • If you originally purchased Fantastical 2 for Mac on the Mac App Store then download Fantastical on the Mac App Store. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID you used to make your previous purchase of Fantastical 2. Fantastical will automatically detect your previous purchase from the Mac App Store and make the existing features available.

Note: You will only receive the features that were available on the previous app you purchased. For example: Fantastical 2 for Mac had calendar sets, but Fantastical for iPhone did not.

There are also new features available for free to existing Fantastical 2 users:

  • New: 3 day weather forecast (powered by AccuWeather)
  • New: Full task support including Todoist and Google Tasks
  • New: Parser autocomplete recommendations for invitees, locations, calendars, and task lists
  • New for iOS: Apple Watch syncs over Wi-Fi and LTE, even if your phone isn't nearby (requires creating a free Flexibits account, but no Flexibits Premium subscription is needed)
  • New for iOS and iPadOS: Improved invitee support. Add your calendar accounts directly to Fantastical and receive and respond to invitations as well as G Suite and Exchange invitee lookup
  • New for macOS: Fantastical can now run in the background (receive notifications and sync even when Fantastical isn't running) and the mini window can now run over other full screen apps
  • New for macOS: Support for attachments on Google Calendar events
  • New for iPadOS: Full screen day, week, month, and year views
  • New: Universal app on iOS and iPadOS - If you are an existing iPad user, please download the new Fantastical from the App Store and your existing features will be made available

Launchpad is a highly useful feature in macOS. It has been developed to offer an iOS-like approach to managing apps with more convenience on Mac.

At times, you may find some apps missing from the Launchpad interface. Generally, the newly installed third-party apps wouldn’t be showing up. In order to fix the issue or bring back the missing apps, you need to reset the Launchpad.

Launchpad shows the apps which are in the default Applications folder. In case the program is not there, it won’t show up in Launchpad. In this case, move the app out of the folder, log out and log back in to restart Launchpad. Now, move the program back to the Applications folder.

Rebuild the Launchpad Database

macOS Dock controls the databases which determine the apps to be shown in Launchpad. The databases may have become corrupt. To fix the issue, rebuild the Launchpad databases.

macOS Catalina, in many ways, is a major update. But as they say, nothing is perfect in the world, it can still be improved. As a Mac user, you must have a long list of wish lists that you would want to see in the upcoming version of macOS.

Would you like to share them with us? We would be glad to know them from you in the comments.
